Dear President Obama

We respectfully request that in any future negotiation between your administration and the Islamic regime, human rights of the people in Iran to be the priority issue on the agenda, although the reality has shown that in the past 30 years no attempt for negotiation had any result and only encouraged the Islamic rulers in Iran to take aggressive positions. History has proved the futility of such policies.

Since the Islamic Revolution in 1979, the passage of Penal Law in 2008 authorizing death penalty for apostasy and especially after June 2009 fraudulent election, Iranians have been seeking refuge in foreign countries in large numbers.
