What We Need from You, Who Live Outside Iran

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU, WHO LIVE OUTSIDE IRAN:
First I would like to apologize to you Iranian people who live outside Iran, if I sound demanding….
I am writing this letter from Tehran, while I am in a terrible physical and emotional shape. This also reflects the state of the Iranian people who live inside the country. I strongly believe the country is in a very critical situation-as Napoleon said “between victory and defeat, there is only one step”. We in Iran are hanging within that critical step. Tonight I was on my rooftop, alone. A few houses over, I could hear a young girl chanting “Allah Akbar” from the depth of her being. Her young feminine voice reminded me of Neda, so I gathered my last strength and shouted “Don’t be afraid, we are all together.” But after half an hour, tired, scared, and unable to carry on any more, I chickened out and went down, while she was still scramming from the top of her longs” Irani, Irani, United, United….”
This is what Iranians are chanting these days-believe me – I have touched with all my senses what’s really going on with the people of Iran. They are scared -the Regime has spread the rumors that the “Basiji” people go around at night and identify homes -and attack the people in the houses if they hear “Allah Akbar” from the rooftop. Yesterday, CNN broadcast a video, in which a few women were under attack and were screaming. This has confirmed people’s fears that homes could be under surveyance and attack by “Basiji” any minute if they go to the rooftops and chant” Allah Akbar”.
Neda’s death has numbed people. Government media has started a psychological war against the people-in every corner of the streets, guards with private clothes are watching the people.
Today I was extremely disappointed when I saw that only a few thousand protesters hit the street on 7th Tir Square.
I swear we did all we could. The situation is extremely dangerous. Now, my fellow fighters who live outside the country, WE NEED YOUR HELP. If we don’t get it, well,… we’ll lose-if you don’t help us in this critical moment the enemy with crush us.
1- Today I heard from a few people in the street saying “We can’t win”. Give us hope! Inform us of the positive events and small, hard achieved successes we have achieved so far. Those mean a lot to us-with letting us know the small successes, give us energy.
We know how hard it is to mark this government illegitimate. We also know how difficult it is to unit all Iranians. Today for example, the commander of Tehran’s police was arrested for ignoring the orders to crush the protesters. Isn’t this BIG news? These little events are big and crucial for us now; energize us with broadcasting them.
2-Urge the frightened people of Iran to fight a smart “low cost” fight with the government, such as pulling their moneis from the banks-believe me, the government is making it harder and harder to even wear black for mourning the dead, let alone going on strike.
Please do not criticize us-we did whatever we could- in one week. Figure out how the people, including the villagers could be persuaded to pull out their monies from the banks.
3-do not let the regime crush the will of the people. Why don’t you attack “Fars News” (the regime’s broadcast agency). I was reading “Fars” today-Don’t let them poison the public with their lies-Do what they do…; install “Plug-In” for FireFax to stop their broadcast.
4-The Regime television has asked the public to send the pictures of the protesters to the Regime. Explain to the public that the pictures are already up on the “Net” As a matter of fact, this is the point of our strength- we should not be moved by their scare tactics.
5– This cunning and deceitful Regime has succeeded in putting the West on he defensive for causing the unrest-ask the media to broadcast OUR news, however incomplete they are- The governments around the world, especially Obama Administration should not take the Regime’s side-should not sell the Iranian people to the regime. The World should be united in their request for a new election from the Regime. The World should hear us and understand us. Lack of support from the West for Ahmadi Nejad is extremely helpful for us. Tell Obama “Please do not sell us to Ahmadi Nejad, because, at the end, he can’t be trusted”
6- The possibility of Mousavi, Karrobi, and Khatami’s arrest increases every day-ask the Western media to make these arrest very, very costly for the Regime.

Just wanted to say HI. I found your blog a few days ago on Technorati and have been reading it over the past few days.
I’ve been reading along for a while now. I just wanted to drop you a comment to say keep up the good work.
I must say this is a great article i enjoyed reading it keep the good work 🙂
Reading your story as an African who on a daily basis directly or indirectly faces the same repressive regimes is encouraging and motivating. I’ve always wondered what the motives, intentions and subsiquent achieve is in some of our leaders in their quest to suppress people to cling on to power. Power corrupts, power destroys and power can build. I’m completly against any form of injustice irrespective of the magnitude and the size of people affected. The courage to take a stand and say no to injustice and repressive regimes in their totality deserves our utmost support in any peaciful means possible. Thank you for sharing this news with us. I’m reading this from Nambia and keep the flame burning.
I am very sorry for my people in Iran. When I read this article I cried , i know how much all Iranian yarn for freedom. Iran regime is a regime whose hand is stained with blood of our brave children. I can not call them Iranian because they brought noting but misery and death to Iran. I can not call them human because they are bringing backwardness and more war to the middle east in the name of Palestinian and the holly land. They are only alive by spreading terror and war, by sponsoring terrorist organization worldwide. Their best friends are Hezbollah , north korea, russia, venezuela, China, and almost any country who has been or is abuser of human rights in his own country. they cry for Palestinian people while them selves are torturing and killing political prisoners stoning women and hanging children. I do not remember who said “The most dangerous regimes are those who talks constantly of god and enemy “, something that we Iranians are very familiar with. I just like to ask two questions:
1) How can Palestinian people thrust regimes such as Iran as their savior? Just go online and watch 100 videos that show how they react to a peaceful gathering.
2) When America and other west countries stop supporting this regime?
PLEASE SUPPORT IRANIAN PEOPLE IN THEIR QUEST FOR FREEDOM
The World should be united in their request for a new election from the Regime?! How about the world should be united in their support for a new regime! Lack of support from the West for Ahmadi Nejad is extremely helpful for us?! How about lack of support from the West for any of the regime’s inner circle leadership inlcuding and not limited to Mousavi, Kahroubi, Khatami, Rafsanjani, etc. Tell Obama “Please do not sell us to Ahmadi Nejad, because, at the end, he can’t be trusted”?! How about tell Obama “Stop selling us to the terrorist and dictatorial regime, because before even he was elected, he was not trusted due to all his suspcious associations”.
The possibility of Mousavi, Karrobi, and Khatami’s arrest increases every day-ask the Western media to make these arrest very, very costly for the Regime?! Do you think the people of Iran give a damn if these imposters are arrested? Who are you scaring, just few months later after they have rested in their Villas, they will come to US and act the same way Akbar Ganji has. Perhaps, your chortekeh was stuck when counting the dmonstrators in Iran. Millions are still demonstrating and without any fear chanting “Death to Islamic Republic” these days.
